Our favourite place
Beautiful cottage with everything you could require for a comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean.Good Wi-Fi and good supply of hot water and powerful shower. Warm and cosy. Easy kitchen to cook in. Very pretty garden and well equipped to sit in and enjoy the peace and quiet and adequately fenced to keep pets in. Easy clean floor when dog has muddy paws. Good parking and quick walk into Holt and the shops and easy access to country walks. Perfect.
Beautiful Cottage
Had a fantastic couple of days with good friends in this beautiful cottage. The cottage is very comfortable furnished and is exceptionally clean a must due to COVID. It has everything you need to have a relaxing special time away. We stay in cottages many times a year and this is by far the best property we have stayed in. The communication from host Sharon was exceptional and the little extras to make the stay special such as the doggie welcome pack was a lovely touch. Thank you Sharon & Nick we will be back. A Five Star Experience!
Duck Cottage
Such a beautiful relaxing place to stay in an idyllic spot. Near to the buzzing town of Holt, lots of things to do nearby for both adults and kids. Book in here quickly you will have such a great time you will just want to go back!
A wonderful week golfing and walking
We had a wonderful week, playing golf and walking June ‘23. The cottage worked well for 4 adults, especially with the lovely garden and enough bathroom space for all. Holt was a great village centre with excellent local produce, cafes and restaurants and The Kings Head pub around the corner served us 2 delicious dinners (must book). Holkam House and beach also stunning.
Fantastic stay
Duck Cottage is the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It is wonderfully quiet, has a fantastic garden - a rare double, spacious and pretty - and inside there is plenty of space for four. It is well stocked and very nicely 'done', with everything you could need to manage classic Norfolk summer weather. Return visit already booked!
A real gem
The hosts were so welcoming and attentive, they were on hand whenever needed . Cottage is beautiful with a fabulous welcome pack, including our dog. Gorgeous sunny gardens and surrounding countryside. A real gem and a lovely few days away. Thank you Sharon & Nick
