Duck Cottage is a Grade II Listed brick and flint cottage built in 1870. Set in a beautiful spot in the Glaven Valley, we have sympathetically restored the cottage, updating to allow for modern day luxuries whilst keeping the unique original features wherever we could. The large fully enclosed pretty cottage garden with open views across the unspoilt countryside is a delightful space to enjoy, or warm up next to the log burner in the cosy lounge on cooler evenings. Sleeps 4 plus 1 on sofa bed. Welcomes up to 2 small/medium well behaved dogs.

Walk in the front door of Duck Cottage, through the entrance hall into a cosy, relaxing lounge, complete with original pamment floor tiles, comfortable sofas, a lovely warm log burner, and large flatscreen TV with SkyTV.

The spacious fully equipped kitchen with Range Cooker and Breakfast Bar then takes you through to the light and airy dining room. At the back of the ground floor is a utility room, with door to the courtyard, a perfect sunny spot for morning coffee. The downstairs shower room (there's also a large upstairs shower room) has some more original features and exposed beams plus a modern efficient shower.

The original back door opens onto the amazing fully enclosed garden, at the front the Summer House holds more garden furniture. The large back lawn offers unspoilt views over the surrounding countryside.

Upstairs, the Master bedroom has a King Size bed, and an ensuite loo and basin. The second bedroom has 2 full size single beds. We provide luxury bed linens and towels. The upstairs shower room has a large walk in shower, and views over the garden and the countryside beyond.

Guests are free to enjoy the entire cottage and garden during their stay.

Letheringsett is a pretty North Norfolk Village set on the River Glaven, and home to the last flour producing watermill in Norfolk. A short walk from Duck Cottage is the popular Kings Head pub. A mile away is the beautiful Georgian Town of Holt, with many wonderful independent shops, cafes and galleries, plus there are many fantastic pubs and restaurants within easy driving distance.

You can walk to Holt through the countryside, or drive there in just a few minutes. There is a bus service to Holt and surrounding towns and villages, the bus stop at the end of Riverside Road

Duck Cottage is a short drive from the popular seaside towns of Sheringham, Cromer and Wells and beautiful coastal villages, such as Blakeney and Cley.
